Arielle, a young waitress, is bored with her job in her small Florida town. One day she falls in love with a criminal recently released from prison but still on probation. The two commit petty larceny and decide to publish their exploits on social media. Obsessed with their growing number of "followers", their crimes become increasingly serious.
