In the mid-1940s, Alfred Kinsey, a biology professor at Indiana University, decided to fill out a sexuality questionnaire designed by his students. He then recalled his childhood, his difficult relationship with his father, a pastor, and also with Clara, who would become his wife. From then on, abandoning zoology, he devoted himself to studying the sexual habits of American men.
